Catering for Change Conference

This conference will launch the framework document for Sustainable Food and Drink Procurement in the Public Sector in Scotland.
The Scottish government recognises that it can't achieve its sustainable food and drink strategy on its own and that the whole public sector is key to making the policy successful.
Procurement is key to delivering the Government's priorities and it underpins the achievement of the health, education, environmental and economic benefits that sustainable economic growth requires.
This is a major conference which is designed to bring together the two key functions of procurement and catering in the context of the aims of Scotland's National Food and Drink Policy.
A number of influential speakers will be present, including John McClelland, Author of ‘Review of Public Procurement in Scotland'.
