Project Progress
The C2 project has six operational themes
- Case Studies - This aims to help companies, organisations and farmers understand the benefits of collaboration by showcasing the work of successful collaborative ventures
- Understanding Your Supply Chain - Working with partners, we are helping companies and farmers to maximise their supply chain through events like the Lamb Supply Chain workshops held in Mull and Grantown on Spey
- Introduction to Managing Your Supply Chain - this series of workshops is aimed at helping companies, organisations and farmers to map their supply chains and look at how they can be improved
- Improving Your Supply Chain - we can help companies, organisations and farmers to take action to improve their supply chains by working with them to find partners, broker relationships and develop agreements
- Facilitation - We can also help by facilitating discussions and meetings between companies and between organisations to help them find ways of collaborating.
- Comparative Research Monitoring and Evaluation - We are capturing the knowledge we are acquiring during the project to help inform future policy and projects
- Dissemination - We are using media and other methods to tell people about the project and pass on information about collaboration
So far, we have worked with
- 175 companies, some participating in several project activities, from receiving advice to help with detailed joint venture supply chain projects
- 61 organisations/councils/academic institutes have been involved in the project
- 560 people have taken part in events, many of them farmers
